The contents of this folder and all the work done MUST not be credited to me.

The original creator of this utility (plug in) for Sonar is "AJ" - a long time user of Sonar and forum member. As far as I can tell, he must have switched DAW by now and working with "Reaper" so you might not find him in Sonar related forums.

This utility, is not an actual Mackie Emulation for Sonar but rather a plug in which uses Sonar's ACT technology in a smart way to emulate the comfort and functionality of a Mackie Controller inside Sonar with a BCR2000.

As a quick start guide, all you have to do is move the "bcr2000_v110" folder to your hard disk (probably "Program Files" is a good location for this to reside) and register the AJ control surface plug in which is located in bcr2000_v110 folder by double clicking the "install.cmd"

*****IMPORTANT********************************************************************************************
You don't have to follow the release_notes "installation" procedure due to the fact I have provided a working preset for the BCR2000 in forms of .bc2 and SysEx

By using BCManager you can set up your BCR2000 by sending it the provided .bc2 file.
WARNING: this preset will replace your BCR2000 preset no4.
Alternatively you can send the SysEx file provided with your preferred method.
The functions of "store" will not be furthermore functional for this preset but after sending the preset, you can save it in the device by switching it off and on again (power cycle)

Then you have to set up a new "controller/surface" inside Sonar as shown in the images in "showcase images" folder.

Detailed info about setting up and using this application inside Sonar can be found in "release_notes_bcr2000_v110" - again I note you don't have to follow the "installation" procedure. Just skip to "how to use it"

Final warning: The above utility has not been tested in 64bit OS so it might not work as expected. It is however compatible with all known versions of 32bit Windows OS (including windows 7)

FINALLY BIG THANKS to "AJ" for making this whole thing!!!!!
